Holiday Breakfast

My dad drove all the way here from Greensboro yesterday just to spend Christmas with us.

So this morning I decided to make him his favorite holiday breakfast. HOT sausage, with scrambled eggs and grits. Of course I also thought of this as a great excuse to use my cute little red and green pots.

My dad likes his grits plain with just a little pat of butter.

David likes his with cheese.

I like mine with a drizzle of honey (don't you just love the word drizzle?)

Anyway, you may be asking, "what makes it a holiday breakfast?"

A little cranberry juice, and cranberry swirl toast, that's what.

Now I have to figure out what's for lunch....
