Crazy Wind

So, Friday night, just as Alan and I were getting ready to watch the big Kentucky Oaks race on TV, a bit of a storm blew in. It really didn't seem like much, but all of a sudden we heard a very bad sound. You know, the kind of sound that you've never really heard before, but you just know that it can't be good. It turned out to be pretty bad.

Somehow our picnic table umbrella came out of it's stand and blew off causing the table top to shatter into a bazillion pieces. It was a giant mess and took a very long time to clean up. As soon as the last piece of glass was sucked up into the amazing Hoover vacuum we headed to the Home Depot to buy a new table. Of course, you don't just buy a new table, you buy a whole new patio set. Well, that's what we did.
