Time Flies

Just in case you think that all I've been doing lately is sitting around knitting (which is partly true) I wanted to try and catch you up on how our crazy, busy May has been going. My Dad came for a visit at the beginning of the month. He drove down to visit family in Tennessee but made it back to Louisville in time for us to celebrate Seis De Myo. Grace and Alan ran the "Through the Zoo 5K" in the pouring down rain. I have been totally obsessed with  Juniper Moon Farm's Lamb Cam. You really have to check it out. If you are lucky you will actually get to see a baby lamb being born. I know, it's just amazing. Yesterday we drove to Lexington for the Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival. It was so nice to see some sweet baby lambs in person. Alan watched the sheep dog trials while Grace and I shopped. Above is a picture of what I brought home this year. No yarn, only fiber. I just couldn't help myself. Grace found out that her official leave for the Peace Corps date will be June 19th. She flies to LA to meet up with the other 100 volunteers and they all will fly to China together. She has started a new blog about her Peace Corps experience if you want to follow along. She will be taking the GRE this coming week so that she can apply to graduate school while she's away in China. We are going to be taking a quick trip to Louisiana to visit Alan's mom and to top the whole month off we have tickets to see Book of Mormon.  I told you it was a busy month. I'll try and pop in as often as I can, but I'm not promising that you will here from me much before June.
Hope you all are doing well.
Sally
