Happy St. Patrick's Day

Pink Lady
Bourbon Barrel Stout
Irish Red Ale
Just as predicted, another winter storm blew through yesterday. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it will be the last. I am officially done with winter. I'm getting out my Easter decorations this week, so it's spring alright? Thank goodness we took full advantage of the beautiful weather we had on Saturday. I mentioned that Grace had signed up for a 4K fun run downtown. None of us realized quite how much "fun" it was going to be. It was called the Green Derby Gallop, and all the participants were encouraged to wear green. Who knew that people would dress up in crazy St. Patrick's Day costumes. Grace did not get that memo. Alan and I stood around taking in the sights, while Grace mingled with other runners. Before the start they were told to look for the Leprechaun passing out gold coins, because they would need one before they could cross the finish line. Grace got her coin and finished in record time for her and then we walked a couple of blocks to the Bluegrass Brewing Company for drinks and dinner. All in all it was a very good day.
Hope you enjoyed the weekend and are doing something fun to celebrate St. Paddy's Day.
