Battening Down The Hatches

You wouldn't know it to look at these two, but right now Louisville is under a severe risk of strong storms for this afternoon. Jim Cantore from the weather channel is actually HERE!

that is never a good thing. The weather guys are calling Louisville the "Bulls eye".

I'm not really sure what to think about all of the hullabaloo. Schools have been closed and people seem to be in quite a panic.

I've been through hurricanes and ice storms, but I have to tell you tornadoes really are the worst.

You get a little notice, but where they decide to touch down is always a mystery.

Strong storms passed through Kentucky on Wednesday and several towns near Louisville were hit hard. I think that's part of the reason for all of these early precautions.

I've stocked up on groceries and done a little cleaning. We have candles ready just in case.

If you are also in the path of these storms, stay safe and let's just say a pray and keep our fingers and toes crossed that it all amounts to nothing.
